Concert Band

Description:

This ensemble is composed of 9th garde students, performing beginner to intermediate level repertoire. In this ensemble, the skills learned at the middle school level are built upon. Students in the ensemble will be building their musical skills over the course of the year: scales, tone, rhythms, intonation, balance, etc.. As the year progresses, students will be introduced to repertoire of increasing difficultly to better prepare them for the next level ensemble. We will also build a deeper understanding of music theory, history, and appreciation through assignments determined by the instructor.
